In June 2009, Vodafone and Hutchison merged their operations to form a new entity called Vodafone Hutchison Australia. Mobile phone carriers control and operate their own infrastructure (i.e. mobile phone towers and associated equipment), as well as providing mobile phone services. There are also other mobile phone service providers that resell services from the mobile phone carriers. These include, AAPT and Dodo Mobile (that resell services from Vodafone's network) and Virgin Mobile (that resell services from Optus' network).Read More...

Australian owned and operated, Dodo has achieved enormous success in building and establishing a successful telecommunications corporation, providing customers with a full range of products and services. A much smaller company than most of it's competitors, Dodo was also notable for its high number of complaints, almost 6000 disputes recorded over the past year. Nevertheless, that represented a big decline from the almost 20,000 complaints recorded in the previous year.
